Like most humans these days, I’ve been on social media for too long. I still remember my Myspace page. In 2019, after attending a submit with my gym, I approached the owner about the gym’s current social media manager. I honestly thought it was pretty obvious the person was not involved in the gym. She agreed, I took over the role.

I had no idea what I was doing, I just knew that I loved my gym and wanted to help it get better. So I tried. I paid attention, I asked for feedback, and I started learning. I got pretty good at it, and was eventually approached by another business.

Which brings me to early 2021 and the creation of Socially Designed. I quit my mainstream job in late 2020 with the goal of becoming a full time coach at the gym and growing this social media business. This year I have added two business that I create content for and manage their social media accounts.
